Letter sent to City Council

The Board of Directors would like to advise the LWVP membership that on January 30, we sent a forward-looking letter to the City Council expressing concerns about the City's process of requesting taxes and the overall burden on taxpayers.  The Board unanimously approved this letter at a special meeting on January 29.  A copy of the letter is below and you can download it here.  As the letter says, the LWVP is taking no position on Measure F. 

We seek a volunteer to monitor meetings of the City Council and Budget Advisory & Financial Planning Committee, as we follow future planning around taxes and bonds.
