The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

LWVP 2021 Essay Contest


The League of Women Voters of Piedmont is proud to be sponsoring its second annual essay contest open to all high school juniors and seniors who are currently enrolled in Piedmont High School or Millennium High School. This year the contest is also open to high school juniors and seniors who are residents of Piedmont but do not attend Piedmont schools. There is a $500 prize for the first place essay.
