Ashley Boren is executive director of Sustainable Conservation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping California thrive by uniting people to solve the toughest challenges facing our land, air and water. Sustainable Conservation brings together business, landowners, government and other non-profit organizations to steward the resources that we all depend on in ways that are just and make economic sense. The organization is currently focused on initiatives to increase California’s water supply reliability, water quality and the pace and scale of habitat restoration.
Ashley serves on the California State Board of Food and Agriculture and the UC California President's Advisory Commission for the Division Agriculture and Natural Resources. She earned a BA in human biology, MA in applied economics and MBA from Stanford University.
