Great Decisions Discussion Group Week1 (1pm or 7pm)
The League of Women Voters of Piedmont has been hosting Great Decisions discussion groups for over three decades. The discussion group focuses on world affairs with materials and resources produced by the
Foreign Policy Association (FPA). Please visit the
LWVP Great Decisions page for additional information on this year's Great Decisions topics. The cost of your registration covers materials produced by the FPA including a briefing book and videos covering each of the eight discussion topics.
We will be meeting
virtually this year via Zoom every other Tuesday starting on February 1st, 2022 and going through May 10th, 2022. Each meeting will be approximately an hour and a half long and will cover one of the eight discussion topics. When you register, you will purchase a briefing book so you can read the materials for each topic prior to our discussion. We will begin the session by viewing the video on the week's topic and a group discussion will follow.

To participate in the Great Decisions discussion group, you will need to purchase a briefing book. The book is published by the FPA. If you live in Piedmont or nearby, you may purchase the book with your registration and pick it up in Piedmont. Times and location for pickup will be available after registration. If you cannot pick up the book, you may
order it directly from the FPA. Additional shipping charges ($6-$12) will apply.
When you register, please select one of the four options to indicate your preference for time (1pm or 7pm) and how you would like to purchase your book (from LWVP to pick up in Piedmont or directly from FPA).
